Hey lovelies, honestly for me summer is pretty much over I’m back to working a lot and quite clearly the weather has already taken a turn. I’m not mad at this either tbh because I’m not the biggest fan of hot weather, tit sweat and young children being everywhere. I’m literally a combination of squidward and the grinch so I’m ready for winter.
Beers, beers, beers – I’m partial to a beer and the summer is a perfect time to sit in a beer garden with friends! I work in an events venue so this is something that I do more often than not, because obviously alcohol is really accessible to me. I also have enjoyed some amazing evenings drinking gin and vodka in my studio in the sun, a bit lovely if you ask me.
Pokemon Go – I’ll personality fight anyone who thinks that this game is lame, because it always gets me out and about when I’m feeling depressed. I’ve really enjoyed the shadow Pokemon addition to the game and I’ve nearly completed the first three decks minus regionals. I’ll probably play this game for the rest of my life, I love it.
Dance Moms – Gosh now I’ve got a really weird addiction to this show, I watched a few episodes when I was at home and since then I’ve binge watched the first five seasons and I’ve got six, seven and eight to go.
Saving Money – Again I feel like a right twat even writing this because I’ve paid of most of my debt and I’ve only got £178.93 to pay off of one of my credit cards and ya girl will be starting 2020 debt free and hopefully it will never happen again. I actually really enjoy saving now too. It’s like I’m a proper adult.
Co-ords – I’ve gained a really weird addiction to co-ord outfits, matching skirts and jackets – I’m actually loving them. I recently bought two from boohoo and I love them more than anything on this planet.
Visiting Home – This was probably the best bit of my summer. I had a massive feeling this year that I wouldn’t be able to go home or visit my family. It’s a tough place where I have to work and can’t afford to have holiday time, but it fell in such a way I ended up having five days at home. I spent the time by the seaside and with my family and why it’s not a massive holiday, it was so lovely to just have a few days with people I love and to do fun things.
I’d love to know what things you’ve enjoyed this summer or if there is anything you’re looking forward too in autumn, let me know in the comments!
