Hey lovelies, today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite places to eat in Northampton, if you find yourself in Northamptonshire and ever need a recommendation of something to eat then hit me up. There are so many great restaurants right on my doorstep and I thought it finally time to write about them.
Now as throwback, I was actually invited to the opening of this store and it was genuinely one of my favourite events I’ve ever attended to this day. Turtle Bay is a unique Caribbean experience, offering delicious Carribean food with an Island bar that serves plenty of rum based cocktails. The food is genuinely out of this world, and I love that they have so much on offer for vegetarians, I personally love the veggie platter, and the coconut curry.
Pizza Express Northampton Town Centre
Honestly I would never consider continuously eating at chain Italian restaurant but the Northampton Town Centre Branch is honestly amazing. The customer service is always amazing, and the food is always delicious. I really love that they can make all the pizzas with a vegan base now and the calamari is one of my favourite foods on this planet.
Firejacks
If you’re looking for steak, then this is the place for you. Firejacks has such a great friendly vibe, the staff are lovely and the food is delicious. I’ve had the steak once as they’re known for it, but more often that not I select one of their burgers. I really love the cocktails they serve too, they are really delicious. I recently found out that they opened one of these bad boys in my home town too, so it’s a win win for me.
Nuovo
This was the first proper restaurant I visited when I first moved to Northampton, and even now I love it just as m much I did then. The restaurant serves Italian style tapas dishes, making it absolutely perfect for dates or for visits with family. I absolutely love the fish dishes they serve, and the sweet potato fries are heavenly. I would also recommend the deserts because they are exceptionally good, the coffee and cocktails are also superb. I have genuinely never had anything to complain about on my visits.
Oren Pho Vietnamese
After visiting Oren for the first time last year, I became a big fan of Vietnamese food. The selection of dishes that they have on offer is amazing. I often go for a Pho dish and for a medium dish such as the duck on a bed of seasoned greens. The atmosphere is amazing, and they have the most gorgeous upstairs which is so quant and perfect for larger tables. The wine selection is also amazing. They also offer a delivery service which is amazing for when I can’t be bothered to cook or really fancy a noodle broth.
I’d love to know if you’ve ever visited any of these places, and if any of you find yourself in the East Midlands then holla at me!
