Hey lovelies, Christmas is all about spending quality time with the people you love. During the holidays, you prepare gifts to give to your friends and family as an illustration of your love for them. If you have a huge family, shopping for a gift for every one of them can be expensive and time-consuming. Moreover, if everyone receives a gift from a family member, your house may quickly clutter with too much stuff.
Rather than spending on individual gifts, consider buying a gift for the entire family. It can be tricky because of the age difference and since others have their interests. However, buying a gift for the family is the best way to celebrate your bond and spend more time with your family. It allows you to spend more time together, which is a lot better than receiving several items.
Therefore, the best gifts for family are those that allow you to spend good quality time with them. For some, it involves spending time outdoors; while for others it may be through playing indoor games. Whatever the decision they make, your family is sure going to enjoy themselves.
Here are the best Christmas gift ideas that you can provide to your family members.
Christmas Board Games for the Family
This Christmas is unlike any other. As more people spend time indoors due to the lockdown, there is not much that you can do. However, you can allow your family to bond through the playing of indoor board games.
With plenty of board games from old classics to new games, you can find something that will be engaging enough to even keep the kids entertained.
Real Christmas Tree
Picking out a real Christmas tree for your family is one of the best ways you can create lasting family memories. It is a tradition that your children will look forward to as they brace the cold temperatures and help you decide. It also provides them a chance to learn more about plants and living things since they can see the origin of the tree. You can get a Christmas tree from Fig & Bloom that you can use to create real family memories.
Outdoor Camping Kit
If you prefer to spend more time with your family outdoors, how about buying some camping gear? You can plan and prepare a family holiday for an entire week with plenty of tents and items to keep you comfortable.
You can also consider camping with your family on a one-night weekend to save on costs, especially if your family is huge. Regardless of your decision, you may still get to share beautiful memories with your loved ones during Christmas.
Summing Up
The above gifts can sure help you win the hearts of your loved ones. While cost is an important factor to consider, the main goal should be to make sure that the gifts you provide satisfy everyone. Therefore, do not limit yourself only to gift items but also think of the experience you would want to provide your family this Christmas. Still, it would not hurt to find some affordable Christmas gifts for your kids.

The camping kit is such a great idea, even if I would spend camping on my own as my sisters are completely against it! Will probably be better to buy a board game! Thanks for sharing xx

Camping has always been a huge thing for my family. My parents brought me along on family camping trips starting when I was just a young baby and I still meet up with my mother to camp each year today. I introduced my husband to it and he’s hooked too. In my family, it’s not at all uncommon for gifts to include camping gear because it’s an interest that we all share.

I love all these suggestions which will certainly create great family memories. I love board games and am trying to figure out if three families can play over Zoom this Christmas!

Nice ideas! When we send Christmas gifts to family and friends, my husband and I send something for the whole family. This year we did hampers from M&S because we don’t get charged shipping (we’re in the U.S. and family, etc are all in the UK). That way there is something for everyone to try or enjoy. I like the idea of the Christmas tree as a gift, I’ve not thought of that before!

Lovely ideas! Next year I hope we can go pick out a tree as a family. Only did it one time as a child and it was memorable. I would love a real tree next time.

Great suggestions! My family typically spend Christmas watching films and playing board games, and I really like the sound of an outdoor camping kit. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas x

I really like this idea. Sometimes, we’re on a strict budget we can’t possibly buy everyone in the family gifts so buying one gift for the entire clan can be a great idea for us to share! Aside from board games, you can also buy food, or an appliance if you can. Anything useful is a start! Thank you for sharing!

Some great ideas here! Christmas just isn’t the same without a board game. In our house, if giving a joint gift, we look at board games, jigsaws, card games and film subscription services like Netflix to gift the other household. Either that or something they can use in the garden when the temperature rises again!
