Hey lovelies, I’ve been absolutely baking mad since the beginning of isolation as you may have seen in my 30 Meal Ideas For Isolation and 30 Things To Do During Isolation, all the free time has me very hungry and wanting to keep busy. Also who doesn’t love a sweet pancake? I thought that today I’d share some recipes I’ve found that I love and that I want to make to inspire the inner bakers within us all.
Cannoli Pancakes | Snappy Gourmet
Cannoli is something that I absolutely love, and I’m really keen on any recipe that includes orange zest because let’s face it, it’s delicious. This is probably the recipe I’m most excited to try and make because it looks incredible. I love a chocolate chip too. Not sure mine will look this Instagram worthy though.
Strawberries & Cream Pancakes Recipe | GlowSteady
This pancake recipe by Sophie, is one that I’ve been dying to make for a really long time – who doesn’t love a strawberry pancake. The recipe looks so easy to make, and I can’t wait to give it a try. It’s an added extra that they’re vegan and gluten free!
Lemon Blueberry Pancake Bites | Gather For Bread
This is one that I came across on Pinterest and I loved the take on making the pancake a pancake bite – I thought it was so cool. I’m a really big fan of lemon and blueberry flavouring so I can’t wait to give these a try. I really think you could mix these up and make them with almost any flavouring and topping.
Red Velvet Pancakes | One Sweet Appetite
Red velvet is one of those flavours that I absolutely adore, as soon as I saw these I had to try and make these. They’re delicious and the red colour makes them so much more exciting. I really recommend giving these a go. I think the topping could be a bit more exciting but either way – they are still incredible.
Peanut Butter Banana Pancakes | Lil Luna
When I saw this recipe and saw that the prep and cooking time was just 20 minutes, I jumped onboard and tried to make them. I can confirm that these are absolutely delicious, I love the peanut butter and banana mixture it makes for the most delicious treat. The melted peanut butter topping is what won me over the most. I can’t wait to make these every week until I die.
Bourbon Peach Pancakes | Broma Bakery
Lastly, a boozy pancake because I don’t know about you but I absolutely love pancakes and alcohol. The thing about this recipe that made me fall in love was the peach flavour mixed with bourbon which sounds incredible. I love the sound off the combination. It’s not something that I’ve come across before which was something that I liked so much too.
I hope you enjoyed this slightly different food content today, and I’d love to know if you’ve baked anything during the isolation period.
