GUEST POST| I am so excited today to be sharing a few of the best manifestation techniques I have learnt in the past year that can help you manifest anything you want. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Amber Louise and I run a lifestyle blog called The Unpredicted Page.
I started learning about manifestation techniques about a year ago and it was the best thing I have done. I recently had a little chat on my Instagram stories (@amberxpagex) and it turns out that not that many of you have ever really tried manifesting. I even discovered that some people did not believe in it even though that had not given it a go.
So today I wanted to share some of my favourite manifestation techniques, how they work and some top tips for achieving your dreams. I wanted to try and explain to all the sceptics and beginners out there a little more about the topic and how the techniques actually work. Hopefully I will be able to give you all a bit of insight and you may even want to give it a go yourselves!
What Is Manifestation?
Just a quick definition for those of you who have not heard of this term before. Manifestation is the idea that you can turn your thoughts, visions and dreams to reality based on concepts from the Law of Attraction. There are multiple techniques, so you must find the one that works for you. Some are more time-consuming than others so you can pick the one that fits around your normal routine.
The Law of Attraction is the idea that your thoughts affect your experiences. E.g., If you have positive thoughts, you get positive experiences.
Is Manifestation Real?
Manifestation is as real as you want it to be. If you put the effort in, then you will get something out of it. If you bring positive thoughts, then you will get a positive experience.
Manifestation Methods For Beginners
I wanted to start off with some easier manifestation techniques that are easier to understand and that take up less time. I feel like the reason people do not believe in manifestation is because they do not give it enough time as some techniques require a lot of concentration.
Vision boards
So many of you will have created vision boards and manifested your future without even realising. Creating a vision board can be done online or you can be super creative and create one physically.
If you are looking to create a vision board online, then the best place to start is Pinterest. All you need to do is think of one of your top goals, however small this might be, and use it to create your vision. Your vision could be something as simple as your dream wedding, pr your dream holiday. Or you could go that but future and make it about your dream job.
Once you have chosen your vision, (keep it niche) you can then start looking for pictures and quotes that fit in. Place them all onto the same board. The idea is that you keep referring to this board on your journey to achieving your dreams. By creating a board of all these images, it puts a message into your head showing you how great it would be and thereby you unintentionally work harder to achieve this goal.
Personally, I would recommend you try creating a physical board as when you can touch something it makes it more personal. Grab a large piece of paper and card, some newspaper, and magazines, and if possible be near a printer. You can find your images online and print them off or search for them in magazines. This is a great way to spend a bit of time really thinking about what you want for yourself in the future.
Scripting
Scripting is something that you will not already be doing unintentionally. Although it is a very simple exercise that is great for beginners and super-efficient.
All you must do is grab a piece of paper and a pen. Firstly, I would recommend you brainstorm some ideas until you come up with an idea that perfectly represents your goal.
Now your job is to write a letter. You will be writing this letter from your future self to yourself. Ideally you should write the date on the top of the letter as if it is a year from now. So, I would write on the letter February 2022. (Alternatively, you can choose a date even further into the future depending on when you want to achieve your goal by.)
The idea is that when you write something down it gets stuck in your mind. Start the letter and write ‘Dear Amber…’ The more you read the letter, the more your brain starts to think it is actually true.
For example, I am finishing University I want to get a 2:1 and I want to secure a graduate role in a year’s time so this could be a good idea to manifest. I could write ‘Dear Amber, I am so proud of how far you have come, you should be so proud of yourself now that you have finished your degree with a 2:1 and secured you your first job in an Accounting firm that you have always wanted to work in. The job is amazing, and everyone is so happy for you…’ I would then go onto how I feel about it all.

Manifestation Methods For The More Advanced
There are multiple manifestation techniques that require a lot more time and concentration so I would say these are more suited to people who have tried some of the beginners techniques and wanted to try something that takes up a bit more time.
5×55
So, the 5×55 manifestation technique can take up a little bit more of your time and it requires a lot more attention.
You have to span this method over a period of 5 days. Firstly, you need to come up with some intentions that correlate with each other. Once you have ideas, you need to turn them into an affirmation. An affirmation is a positive sentence.
For example:
‘I can do anything when I put my mind to it’.
‘I am grateful I get an A on my exam’.
‘I am so happy I lost 3 pounds this week’.
Next is the timely part. You must write the affirmation on a piece of paper 55 times each day. Make sure you pick a productive time of day to do it and try and do it at the same time every day. You will need about 30 minutes a day for the next 5 days.
It is so important that you do not rush this exercise and that you do it in a place when you cannot be disrupted. When writing it down you need to be thinking about how you feel. You should be able to feel the positive energy inside of you.
While staying connected with your gaol is important, make sure you do not obsess over it. Make sure you do still spend your time doing other things, they do not always have to correlate with your goal.
After the 5 days, keep working hard and see the universe guide you. You may start to see signs around you that your goals are coming true.
Tips for Non – Believers
Tip 1: You can manifest anything if you put in the effort. Manifesting something does not mean it will automatically come true. It just guides you; you are asking for the universe to help you.
Tip 2: As I said before, positive thinking brings positive experiences. You may think this is just a coincidence, but the more you give back to the universe, the more you will get back. If you spread positivity and stay on top of your goals and dream, then you WILL succeed. You need to believe. Any signs of thinking it will not work, will make it not work.
Tip 3: You need to feel the energy. Whether you are creating a vision board or writing down your dreams, you need to stay focused and get rid of any distractions. You need to think about that goal and only that goal.
Tip 4: Keep your affirmations and goals niche. If you try and manifest your entire future, your dream house, how many children you want and your job, then you will struggle to stay on top. Of course, you can manifest each of these things individually, but you need to give the right amount of time to each goal. If it is too big then you will not be able to stay focused. A good thing to do is stick to one at a time.
Final thoughts on Manifestation Techniques
If you really do not believe that you can manifest something, then I really recommend you giving it a go. But you must make sure that you are putting your all into it and not doing it half-hearted.
So that concludes my best manifestation techniques for those who are slightly sceptical about the topic of manifestation. I hope you have learnt a little something from this post and that you are more willing to give it a go!

Thank you for sharing. I have recently started manifesting again. I used to do it when I was younger with job that I wanted. Starting with a vision board and have written down the goals I want to achieve this year. For example, running my first half marathon.

Such an interesting post! Manifestation is something I’ve heard a lot but never actually tried. I definitely think that manifestation is a great way to shift out mindsets and actions toward what we really want in life.

It’s funny to me how people don’t believe in the law of attraction. Of course it won’t always turn out how you want, but generally if you keep your goal in mind and you work for it, you’ll get there. These tips are great to stay focused on your goals in that way!

To be honest I didn’t believe that positive self talk could work and I was truly surprised that it did. I will give scripting a try, thanks for sharing x

Love this! I believe in manifestation and law of attraction but I never really had a guideline and most of the time I had no idea how I even made it happen.
This post was super helpful and provided some other things I’d like to incorporate this year!

I am really into manifestation, although need to focus a bit more with it as I dip in and out. One useful tip is to start small and try manifesting small things, like an unexpected gift.
Great post and really useful information!

Such an interesting post! I really believe in it, there’s been things in the past where I’ve written it down, said it out loud, worked hard and it’s happened! I think it’s great, positive way of clarifying what you want and how you can get there!

What’s really fascinating about this concept is that I’ve been a practicing witch for years and so much of these manifestation techniques are straight up spellcasting. Visualizing, setting intentions, asking for help from the universe/God/spirits/etc. while working towards a goal = witchcraft.
Of course, you don’t have to call it witchcraft, but a lot of the principles behind the how and the why overlap. It’s just really neat to see how the verbiage and attitudes differ in a secular setting. 🙂
