Today we’re talking about stock libraries for bloggers. Not all bloggers have the luxury of being able to afford high quality photography equipment. Not all bloggers have the luxury of time to shoot high quality photos around a busy work schedule, children or a busy lifestyle. This is why many turn to stock images for their blog. There is nothing wrong with this.
When it comes to stock images, paying for stock images is better for SEO, Pinterest and more. This is because of how keywords and photos are indexed on Pinterest. I recommend researching up on it if you don’t understand why. Pins with paid stock often perform much better than those with free stock images.
Free stock is absolutely fine to use, but there are limitations to it. I think this is worth sharing, as many do not understand the SEO value of images. So today I’ll be sharing the best FREE and paid for stock libraries.
Before I get started an absolute pro tip for sourcing paid for stock without paying for it, is to sign up for stock libraries mailing lists. They will often send out 3-5 images to you every month. I still do this now. It works a treat.
Free Stock Libraries For Bloggers To Use
The following stock libraries are free to use! These are super handy for bloggers, most will know of them already.
Katie Harper Creative – These are some beautiful free stock images, perfect for those who need flat lay and feminine images. These are free for personal or business use. Sign up with email required.
Ivory Mix – Ivory Mix has over 550 free stock photos, all are incredible quality and many I’ve used before on my blog. I highly recommend. You are required to sign up with an email.
Styled Stock Society Free Stock Images – Sign up to styled stock society here for some free images. This is a great site for images, and perfect for those looking for a taster of the membership.
Canva – For those using the free version of Canva (referral link) to create graphics, you will also be able to access their free library. If you upgrade to a paid plan you will also be able to use their paid for stock library.
Pixi Stock – Sign up to the Pixi Stock mailing list to receive 20 free photos.
Kaboompics – The platform reminds me of Pexels, it’s genuinely really easy to navigate. No signup necessary. Lots of high quality images that are perfect for bloggers such the image below!
Paid Stock Libraries
Etsy
Why Etsy isn’t a stock library, you can find some incredible stock images. Here are a few of my absolute favourite, these are perfect for bloggers. Honestly some of the best most affordable stock I’ve found has come from Etsy.
Feminine Styled Stock Photography (AF)- These are my favourite. This seller has so many beautiful branding related items too. The images are sold individually from this seller.
Styled Stock Photos | The Lifestyle Photo MEGA Pack (AF) – Another seller who has some great stock sets, perfect for lifestyle bloggers. I own this exact set.
20 STYLED STOCK PHOTOS – I came across these and had to share them. Ā£10 for 20 gorgeous images is a bargain.
Pixi Stock
Pixi Stock is one that I actually purchased last week. Pixi stock offer a great freebie library to those who sign up for their mailing list. The images are really clean, and beautiful. There’s a lot of great action shots of women working, and flat lays.
It is one of the more expensive libraries I’ve purchased at $197 for the year but it does come in payment options to split over 2 or 3 months. They currently do have 20% off if you sign up. Which is a good discount considering the cost of the library. (not an affiliate link)
You can find the stock library membership here.
Moyo Studio
I cannot tell you how much I love Moyo Studio. It’s one of the best stock libraries I’ve come across, here’s why. All of their stock bundles come with mockups and can fit multiple niches!
You can buy all the collections individually and for the quality of the images, quantity of images they’re so affordable. They also currently have 3 for 2 on collections, so you can get a free collection if you buy 2! Highly recommend snapping them under this deal.
Robyn Photo & Mockup Bundle (AF) $29 for 30 Images – I own this collection, it’s gorgeous. Perfect for lifestyle bloggers or wedding bloggers and honestly very good quality for the price.
Madeline Photo & Mockup Bundle (AF) $49 for 45 images. This is perfect for those who blog about lifestyle, home life, things of this sort, the images are gorgeous and this set has plenty of mockups. I honestly love the variety of mockups in this pack.
Ayla Photo & Mockup Bundle (AF) $15 for 18 Images. A perfect bundle and it comes with mockups, so this is perfect for a blogger who may have a blog and digital business. I honestly love Moyo stock so much, it’s so diverse.
You can shop all of Moyo’s Stock bundles here, the stock packs range from $15-$50 so they fit a range of budgets. Out of all the paid stock on this list, this is the best for those who are starting out, dipping their toes into buying stock.
Styled Stock Society
I joined Styled Stock Society a few months back, on a quarterly basis. The images are gorgeous and new collections are added every week. These are perfect images for those who blog about business, lifestyle, parenting. All the images are very feminine, clean and their are so many collections that you can find something that fits your blog.
It is a little costly if you’re not a full time creator at $97 quarterly or $297 yearly. But personally I think the image quality and 101 pages of content + member bonuses is incredible for the price.
Check out Styled Stock Society Here (AF).
There are many stock libraries out their that are perfect for bloggers but these are the ones I have found to be the best! I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments if you’ve used paid stock before.
