Spring seems like it’s finally in the air. Or, like it might be sometime soon. So this is often the perfect time to take a look at your beauty regime.
It’s always fun to try new things and change up your routine from time to time. And this is always fun to do when the seasons change. Now that it’s lighter and brighter, you might enjoy doing any of these five things.
Try New Products
First of all, you might find that you actually want to try out a few new products. It might not be wise to invest in lots of new things. Your skin might react differently to different things. But, it can be a nice idea to pick out a few things that you’ve had your eye on, like from Colorescience Skincare, and give them a whirl. It could be good to pick up one or two things you’ve seen reviewed or have been meaning to try anyway.
Let Your Skin Breathe
You might even want to try letting your skin breathe a little more often. Do you wear makeup every single day or are there days where you can just leave it a little? You may find that going makeup-free from time to time can be a breath of fresh air for your skin.
Even when you let your skin breathe, you might want to apply lip balm. You can learn everything about the formula by checking the lip balm manufacturer. So you know what you’re applying to your skin.
Learn A New Makeup Technique
It could also be fun for you to learn a new makeup technique. Sometimes, we get stuck in our ways when it comes to beauty – and that’s okay when we still feel good. But sometimes things can feel a little bit boring. So, instead, you might want to think about trying out a new everyday makeup routine or a new technique for evening makeup? It can be fun for you to play around with makeup and experiment with new spring colours.
Create A Pampering Routine
Then, you might want to think about coming up with a pampering routine too. It can be fun to have set days where you do different pampering tings. Or choose to spend one evening doing them all. From face masks and painting your nails to doing your eyebrows and running a bath. It can be so much fun.
Eyelash extensions are a great way to shorter your daily routine, whilst enhancing and making lashes looking long and voluminous.
Work On Your Health
It can sound a little crazy and maybe not all that related, but the next thing that you’ll want to do is to take a look at your health. Because if you’re not eating that great, if you’re not sleeping, and if you rarely exercise, it’s definitely going to have an impact on your skin. Not only that, but how you look and feel overall too. So maybe try to drink more water, work out a little, and get some good sleep and this is going to help you to feel incredible too.
And that’s always the end goal. We do these things so that we can feel so much better in ourselves. So shake up your routine and see how you feel.

This was really interesting. I like that you also mentioned health because I feel like what I eat effects my skin the most.

I agree about not adding too many products into your routine, my skin freaks out if I do that.
A lot of really helpful, unique idea’s!

I definitely agree with letting your skin breath point. It is so important to clean your skin from makeup and any dirt and let it just recover. I apply makeup only when I go somewhere or feel like wearing makeup but even then it is very light.

I’m always a fan of a good pampering routine but it’s nice to switch up the products you use each season. I’ll be learning some more makeup techniques too as I really need to get practising my wedding day makeup!

I think many people forget that as the seasons change so do our skins, and what might work in winter won’t be right at all in summer. Introducing one or two new products at a time is definitely a good way forward, that’s a great tip x

I try not to change my skincare to often because my skin doesn’t always react the right way. But I do still like to try different things occasionally to help find something that works for me and my skin. Thank you for sharing these suggestions.
