AD Gifted & Affiliate | If you know me you know that I’m a homeware lover. Over the past 3-5 years I’ve become massively obsessed with homeware, appliances and creating my dream home space. A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to receive an amazing PR gift from Swan. I will be creating a whole post on the gifted piece in the upcoming weeks, but I need slightly more time review & use it before I’m happy to write about it.
For those who haven’t been following my house buying process on twitter, Swan might be a new brand for you. I’ve been buying from them for the last 2-3 years and my new home even has a Swan fridge! If you’ve been following along you’ll know 90% of my kitchen appliances are from Swan so today I’m sharing my Swan Homeware Review: 8 Must Have Homeware Pieces.
Swan have also given me a 20% discount on everything on their site (excluding the fridges) so if anything takes your fancy use KAYLEIGH20 for a discount.
Swan Must Have Kitchen Appliances & Accessories
Let’s start with the kitchen. When I’m shopping cookware, I’m always on the look out for pieces that will last the test of time. If i’m paying for something I want to know that it is still going to be functional in 12 months. I always look out for a decent warranty too. I know this might not be the same for everyone but personally I want home ware that is function and will last, and if it looks good then that it is a bonus.
Swan Retro 6L Manual Air Fryer £89.99
I’ve been obsessed with airfryers since the second lockdown. One girl I follow on Instagram has been sharing hers daily and the recipes she made in them, and I had to get one. Mine is this model in olive. It makes the best chips on this planet, at half the time they would take in the oven. It’s also really goof for re-heating food and breaded/battered foods.
If you’re at university or strapped for time I’d really consider investing in one, as they speed up cooking time so much, and there is so much you can cook in them.

Swan Retro Pump Espresso Coffee Machine £99.99
Looking for a coffee machine that isn’t going to cost you a fortune? The swan retro pump espresso coffee machine is a good one. I purchased one of these bad boys in 2019 for my studio and it’s lasted really well. It doesn’t take up too much space and can perfectly fit in your kitchen or on surface. It’s also a great alternative to a coffee machine with pods as you’ll save so much money over time.

Swan 6.5L Slow Cooker Retro £39.99
Using a slow cooker to prep and pre-make meals during the week really helped me regulate what I was eating and helped me create decent meals daily. Living alone for so long gave me really bad eat habits especially at weird times. Now I use my slow cooker a few times a week to bulk make meals for me and my partner around our Gousto Boxes. I really recommend getting one.

Swan Stealth Personal Blender £69.99
As a regular gym attender, a blender is something that I use daily. I make a morning smoothie with protein powder, 2 bananas, almond/soya milk, spinach and the ocassional addition of fruits or almonds. I also cook a lot of sauces that require blending. When my trustee blender died this year I had to pick this new addition to the swan range up. I don’t regret it at all and it’s worth the price tag!

Swan 1.5 Litre Retro Jug Kettle
When I fist started looking for homeware for my new house swan was my first choice, and when I saw the shape of the kettle I fell in love. It is so similar to a SMEG style of kettle, but has the beautiful pastel range of swan colour, and it’s perfectly functional. It also has a decent warranty which was something that won me over, because I like a hot drink and have been known to get through kettles quickly.

Swan Retro 5 Piece Pan Set £69.99
This set was my second ever purchase from swan, my first was the Swan retro two piece frying pans (they are still my pride and joy) I picked up my first set in black. I picked up my Swan Retro 5 piece in the green, which is similar to an olive colour. I personally think these make a gorgeous addition to any kitchen, and they have lasted me so well. None of the ceramic has some come off, and they look almost identical to when I took them out of the box.

Cleaning
I’m not going to lie lockdown had me watching Mrs Hinch videos and following cleaning accounts on instagram left right and centre. I’d never really had a passion for cleaning before but in the last year I’ve really come to love it if I’m honest. I actually really enjoy having a super clean home as it is my primarily work space right now.
Swan Dirtmaster Pro Carpet Washer £149.99
When I started watching cleaning instagram videos, this was a product that came up a lot. Knowing I would be moving out of my previous house I needed to get the carpets cleaned anyway and knew this would be a great alternative. It can also be used on car interiors as well as around the house. I was even able to use mine to get dirt off of my sofa.

Swan MultiForce Pet Bagless Cylinder Vacuum £89.99
If you have a cat or a dog you’ll know the woes of having to clean their hair off every surface of the house. It really does take a good hoover to be able to do this with ease. I loved the bagless aspect of this vacuum as it made it so easy to manoeuvre and get into the tight spots of the house! If you are forever finding pet hairs everywhere this a vacuum you need.

Oh I want an air fryer so bad! That’s a really good price but I am trying to be good until my new kitchen is fitted in June so I know what surface space I have available.
Some brilliant choices here. I am obsessed with buying things for the home x
