Hey lovelies, so today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the lovely bits I received from Urban Decay – I’m using the same image I used in my other post because the Great British weather has been crap and I just wasn’t able to get any photography worth sharing. Only 30 days till I’m returning to my photography set up and new lights!
I’m not going to lie for the longest time Urban Decay has been my favourite brand, I don’t wear makeup everyday except for lipsticks and Urban Decay sell the best ones. I’ve also loved their Gwen Stefani and Spectrum palette. So receiving some bits for them honestly made me cry it’s an amazing feeling to be working with them.
I received two of these and I’ve been dying to try them. The vice lipsticks are my all time favourites with 714 being my everyday choice. I received Monarchy a stunning purple with a blue undertone, and a Bruja a stunning bright pink with hints of red. Neither of these are shades I’d wear everyday but Bruja looks perfect over 714. I haven’t opened Monarchy because it’s not a shade I’ll reach for. The lipstick was relatively long lasting and stayed on even when eating.
I love the shades in this palette, they’re six beautiful shades that you can wear everyday. I love the nude taupe theme too, you can build up some lovely looks with these shades. The two shades in the middle of the palette Frisk and Cover are my personal favourites. The packaging is a little to light for my liking it’s very different to the other naked palettes and it feels really cheap, but it has a smaller mirror which is handy.
Again I’m absolutely blown away that I’ve now worked with two out five of my favourite brands and I’ve loved trying everything. Check my twitter for a little UD giveaway.
